LAST CHANCE TO JOIN THE ROYAL STAR & GARTER FUN RUN - SUNDAY 13TH MAY

This is your last chance to join in The Royal Star & Garter Charity Fun Run which takes place at 10am on Sunday 13th May 2007 in Richmond Park.  The race is for all ages and abilities and promises to be a great day out in this glorious weather – so have fun and stay active!  All funds raised are in aid of The Royal Star & Garter Homes.  Registration is just £5 and includes a running bib, a certificate, and a medal for every runner.  Children are invited to take part in the race in Wild Animal themed attire and there will be a prize for the best fancy dress.

Alistair Holmes, Events Manager, said, “With the glorious weather we’ve had recently, the Fun Run is set to be a fantastic outdoor event and it would be great to see plenty of runners take part.  There is still time to sign up, so please call our events team for an application pack before it’s too late!

Registration takes place from 8.30am at The Royal Star & Garter Home followed by fancy dress judging at 9.30am and a race briefing at 9.45am.  Entrants will then make their way to Richmond Park where the race will commence just inside Richmond Gate.  There will be a hearty barbeque at the Home after the race, where a prize giving ceremony will take place with prizes for the best female and male running times.

To register for the Fun Run or for further information, please call 0845 260 6222 or email events@starandgarter.org.  Register now – just one week to go!
