CHRISTMAS SHOP NOW OPEN AT THE ROYAL STAR & GARTER HOME
Resident at the Home, Daphne Hill, Women’s Royal Army Corps (Rtd) cut the red ribbon to officially open The Royal Star & Garter Charity Christmas Shop on the chilly morning of Tuesday 21st November 2006. Residents and volunteers gathered to watch and mince pies were enjoyed by all. On sale in the shop is a wonderful selection of handicrafts and special gifts for Christmas; a selection of gifts are handmade by a few residents themselves. There are a variety of cards for the season to choose from including our unique Home on the Hill card that features The Royal Star & Garter Home.
The Shop is open from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday – until 20th December so please do visit us! For information on our Christmas Shop or our Christmas Events, please call 0845 260 6222.

About the Royal Star & Garter Charity
The Royal Star & Garter Home, an independent registered charity based in Richmond, has been caring for disabled ex-Service personnel since 1916. The Charity offers the best in nursing and residential care plus a range of therapies. There are also a wide variety of leisure activities available for our residents to enjoy, both inside and outside the Home. In future years, The Royal Star & Garter Charity intends to build new homes, in the Richmond area and elsewhere, in which to provide specialist care for the elderly disabled, and for those with dementia for whom there is very little provision at present.
