Run for Us!
If you are one of the lucky runners with your own place at the 2012 Virgin London Marathon, why not support us by raising funds for The Royal Star and Garter Homes. We’d be delighted to welcome you to our team!
The Charity now has two homes, in Richmond and Solihull, for 120 ex-Services residents; and plans for a third. There are young men and women in active service who may one day need the respite and care offered by the Charity. We want to be there to help them continue to live a full and independent life.
And with your help we can. By holding regular cake sales at work each Friday, by setting up a justgiving page so that friends and family can donate online, or by asking your local supermarket if you can do a collection for a couple of hours – it’s amazing how much you can raise through such simple actions.
We’ll provide the t-shirt or running top; the collection tins, leaflets and background on the Homes; and the grateful thanks of everyone who lives and works at The Royal Star and Garter Homes.
