Work for Us

Our Mission

We aim to provide the best possible care for our residents to enable them to have as fulfilling and dignified a life as possible. To achieve this we need to recruit talented, professional and caring people who would like the work they do to make a difference.

The Workplace

Our Charity is currently in an exciting phase of development; having opened an award-winning new home in Solihull in the West Midlands. The Richmond Home will eventually be replaced by a new modern home in the Richmond or surrounding area and a third new Royal Star & Garter Home is planned for the Buckinghamshire area.

The Solihull Home has now opened and further information and details of vacant positions can be found in the Current Vacancies section. Our original home is located overlooking the River Thames in Richmond, Surrey.

What makes a Royal Star & Garter Home such an interesting place to work is the people; we have a diverse workforce with opportunities for qualified and unqualified staff. Each home will be staffed to support 60 Residents, of whom 15 will be supported in our dementia care wing. Up to date training for dementia care is high on our training programme.

Our Team

Our team is made up of clinical and non clinical staff and we have people working either as part of the home staff team or in support of the Head Office functions:

We are committed to investing in the future workforce and as well as offering an appropriate training and development programme for our staff teams, we offer a limited number of student work experience placements through local schools and colleges for GCSE, physiotherapy and nurse students.
